I can’t recommend more the place we visited and the house we stayed in. Esino Lario is about 5 miles from the lake and Varenna. It is a beautiful place up in the mountains with stunning nature, fresh air and friendly local people. You will find there everything you need including local shop and a nice bar restaurant. The house we stayed is lovely and equipped with all necessary facilities. Any thing you need or have a question you will get an instant response from the host, nothing is a chore.
