Stunning property, location and owners. The girls are so friendly and helpful. This place is a gem. We sat having drinks on their terrace looking down the valley and were in heaven.

The location of the hotel is successful. The owner (Elanora) is very friendly and hospitable. She kindly waited for us until late hours to have a nice dinner at her bar. The room is very clean and all the details that may be needed are carefully thought out. The morning breakfast has standard breakfast content but is quite sufficient.

The host welcomed us with warmth and kindly showed us around the property steeped in history..There was a strong sense of old school hospitality. The accomodation was tasteful whilst still being warm and welcoming. We would gladly stay here again.

On the way over the pass of Great St. Bernardo (not tunnel) from Switzerland late in the evening I was very much looking forward to my chosen accommodation. A large hotel signs along the road led me to the spacious (free) parking lot in front of the hotel. And I have to say that Hotel Bellevue completely exceeded my expectations. The host and all the staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful. Dinner at the hotel restaurant overlooking the snow capped mountains (in July) was breathtaking. Single room (No. 25) offers enough space for one with a spacious bathroom. I fully recommend it.

    Picturesque alpine hamlet with plenty of trails into the...

    Picturesque alpine hamlet with plenty of trails into the mountains for all abilities. It is clearly popular with people walking the Via Francigena as well as bikers and drivers. It works as a longer stopover only if you are into walking and exploring the area. A day stopover was enough for us as it is only a small place, albeit, pretty.

    Keep in mind that you'll be at a certain high in the mountains that means weather can change quite fast, bring jackets and Sweet shirts .... the walks by the river were very pleasant, bring your fishing rod the torrent looks fishy .

    Our stay at Hotel Col Serena was excellent! The hotel is very cute right in the mountains with beautiful views. The room was nice and comfortable. But the added bonus are for sure the owners. Incredibly welcoming and kind. We were stuck in traffic all day and arrived very late in the evening instead of the afternoon. They arranged for us to find in our room a lovely dinner and had set everything up so we could enjoy it comfortably. We were incredibly grateful. Grazie ancora!!!!

    Once we had found it, it was a very nice hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Great stopover in summer and may be a good place for hiking and skiing
