This hotel is a beautiful place to stay if you like quiet out of the way places. The rooms look better than in the pictures. The food is top quality in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was generous with a good selection. There was a lovely little beach bar with sunbeds across the road, which served lovely food and cocktails. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk up very steep old uneven stone steps. I think there are only 2 or 3 ferry crossings daily, but with a little planning, you can get anywhere on the lake. We took the smaller ferry from Lake como to faggeto lario (30 mins maybe), and the hotel is only a couple of steps from ferry stop.

What can I say - if you are ever in the area you really should stay at this gorgeous little B&B run by Stefano and his wife! We had a wonderful stay here for three nights, and were very happy with everything. Nice, air conditioned room, a beautiful terrace to sunbathe on (and also to eat a great breakfast). We also opted to eat in the home restaurant two evenings and it did not disappoint - Stefano did a wonderful job of hosting us and serving us delicious food and wine. Easiest access to this property is by car (or motorbike as we had), but if needed there is a bus service that goes down to Faggeto Lario and Torno, where you can easily switch to another for Como or Bellagio if you wish to do a trip without car. It is also possible to walk down to the Faggeto Lario beach, takes about 35-40 min, but keep in mind it is very steep. We walked down and took the bus back up. Thank you for having us Stefano and for all the valuable tips of things to see and do in the area. We really had a wonderful stay!

Really enchanting view that cannot be seen in other places. Gianluca is so kind and friendly. He is a sommelier that he recommended ecstatic taste wine. His driving skill gave us thrill. Donkey and goat make me feel that I was in a countryside.

Hosts were very helpful and kind. We had a very cozy room with a good view on the street and classic italian vibes. The breakfast was amazing with a top view it's worth seeing. Parking was free with the help of the host closeby the accomodation. The hosts have an amazing taste in style, food and they are extremely hospitable.

The room with the breathtaking view, it is seen that it recently renovated, everything is new and clean, comfy bed and nice coffee corner. Good location (not far from the main road) pretty close to rental boats points (few minutes by car). I definitely recommend this accommodation and would happy to back again while next stay at Lake Como.

The apartment is in a very convenient location (next to the bus stop, you don't need to drag your suitcases up the stairs or up the hill), very neat, clean, spacious. It has everything you could need. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate with the owner of the apartment. From the terrace you can see a beautiful view of the hills. The town of Lemna itself is very charming and this residence is good if you want to hike around the mountains and nearby towns.

    A lovely experience.

    A lovely experience. Off the beaten track so ideal for people looking for peace and quiet but not isolated . Close to a tiny village and to Faggeto Lario and 40 mins to Como and other towns on the lake. Good for solo travellers and families. Up on the hill and not walking distance from Lake. 10 mins by car from Lakeshore. Host very accomodating.

    Faggeto Lario, 15 minutes by car from Como, is a hillside small town. People are very friendly. The "Giardino Segreto" is a top level accomodation, new and clean. The host was very courteous and present.

    I only stayed for 3 days, enough to make me want to come back, if possible in the summer! The hotel has very good service, both at the reception and in the restaurant! I really liked the gift I received when I left the hotel, I will be very happy to come back!!

    This was an excellent hotel for seeing Lake Como and for just relaxing and letting the boat take the train of driving away. The ferry boat dock is less than five minutes away and you can spend the whole day just exploring the lake by boat

    We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend...

    We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend the stay to other people. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and lots of storage space, we had a balcony to sit and have a quiet drink while taking in the beauty of Lake Como. We ate in several places and had a great speedboat trip to view some of the other villages on the lake, Walking was good, the hills were quite steep, so you do what you can and go back. The higher you go the more you see. Don't miss it.

    We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad...

    We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad luck we ended up moving with public transportation with which Faggeto Lario is not impossible, but a bit difficult to reach. There are not too many restaurants (we counted three) and no grocery store. Views are very beautiful though and the ferry ride from Como was also very beautiful. This is a beautiful small village where you can enjoy silence and peace.

    A nice and cosy place just by the lake. It is a good concept of a hotel service, but with spacious and nicely designed apartments, perfect when you travel with family or friends and want to stay together. Everyone from the hotel staff was professional and friendly and always genuinely smiling to us. We also appreciated the facilities - the small beach was cute and useful, also the pool was very nice. We very much enjoyed renting the boat from the water centre at the hotel. All very handy for guests. I will come back in the future.

    It was one the best hotel, where we have ever been. Michaele is amazing owner, who can meet you near the bus stop and pick up to the place, she is also always ready to give you a lot of advices about sights, restaurants and answer all your questions. If you are without car, it is also not problem, there is a bus from Como to this village and also one more direct bus to the Belagio. You can find everything in this place. And the view, it is amazing and incredible, you need to see it.

    Great variety of fresh produce, eggs, and homemade breakfast cake. I have stayed at this hotel many years ago under another ownership. The hilltop views are still phenomenal. The new villa renovations made for a comfortable stay yet maintains the authenticity of this old romantic villa. I loved the new garden additions! This is a fantastic location for seclusion and a break from the touristy experience.

    We had very comfortable stay, staff were friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the rooms we very clean and modern with great views. There was a local restaurant by the lake with delicious pizzas and mojitos. Hotel was a 2 mins walking distance from the lake.
