This is a copy of review for apartment 2 as we booked both: The most excellent find! We travelled from London to Sicily with my family and struggled to find large enough apartments. The beauty of this one is it can connect to apartment 1, and is excellent value. It is beautifully decorated in a modern Sicilian way, has all amenities you could dream of, is excellently clean and has modern electronics. It also is only 20 minute drive from Palermo which was surprisingly easy to drive. We drive on a Sunday and parked in a car park near palermo centrale. It was not as bad as we thought! Around the apartment is an excellent bakery and an especially excellent pizza and steak place. Very warm hosts who met us on arrival and were enthusiastic to tell us all about their apartment and Sicily.

We stayed 2 days at Mama apartment and Margarita welcomed us in lovely way.The location is close to everything you need and just few minutes from the train station to Palermo.The people in Ficarazzi are friendly too.Its definitely a place to stay when you in Palermo.

The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, right on the main street to explore Palermo’s highlights and experience the city’s everyday life. It’s also situated at the beginning of the street where it’s still quiet, so you’re not right in the middle of the noisier areas—making it perfect. As for parking, which can be tricky in many parts of Sicily, thanks to NH it was particularly easy: a parking lot just five minutes’ walk from the hotel, straight ahead with no slopes. The staff always welcomed us warmly; at check-in they were especially kind. The hotel facilities are excellent, since it has been recently renovated. In general, I don’t usually like staying in large hotel chains and prefer boutique hotels, but I must say my stay at NH was surprisingly good. Breakfast was great, and the service, recommendations, and conveniences made for a perfect stay.

    Well located, lot of small shops, cafeterias, a small supermarket, very friendly and helpful people, all you need. Some trash arround roads as aywhere arrou d palermo, be aware of driving to and arround Palermo especially when you are not an experienced driver!
