Beautiful, quiet area, with nice restaurants and great beach. Away from the crowds in Pescara. One thing we noticed about the whole area (especially Pescara) is nobody seems to clean up their dog's mess. Walking around is treacherous! It's literally all over the pavements. We have been coming to Francavilla al Mare for many years and to visit friends that we have made over the years. My only issue with this property was the parking.
My only issue with this property was the parking. There was a wall bc construction and our rent a car didn’t make it up the hill for parking and the space to turn in the lot didn’t barely fit our car. We had to park on the hill 1/4 mile up. The apartment was amazing but the parking was horrible . I would love to stay there next time but if parking isn’t fixed I can not stay there.Guest review byCathy - 8.0

We use Il Faro beach as it is very close to the apartment...
We use Il Faro beach as it is very close to the apartment Lanfranco is a very good host and looks after us very well. We have eaten at many places too many to mention but the food has never disappointed us a huge array of fish, steak and pasta to suit everyone. The mountains are quite close and when it's very hot to travel there with a picnic is very pleasant.
