The hotel is right on top of the village and next to the castle. You can drive there and even find free parking - 20 meters away from the hotel. This is a family managed hotel and everyone was super friendly and making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast offered a full range of local treats. Our room was big and spoiled us with amazing views of the valley and the Etna.

We had an fantastic stay at Mauros Home Bed and Relax. The owner Mauro and his wife were amazing and took great care of us. Mauro arrange for us to go on a fantastic wine tasting, helped us to find the best restaurants in the village and took us for an amazing tour around Etna in his jeep. The place is very clean and the breakfast was great. The pool was excellent and had an amazing view over the wineyards. We couldn't asked for a better stay!

Our stay at this accommodation could not have been better. From the moment of booking, they were eager to help us with our request about visiting Mount Etna. They not only provided information but even organized the excursion for us. All we had to do was show up at the agreed time and place. I highly recommend this experience. On the day of our arrival, we met Domenico, the host, who welcomed us warmly and helpfully. He explained everything we needed for a comfortable stay and also guided us to the best local food spots. Every recommendation we tried was 10/10. The house is beautiful, carefully maintained, and with quality in every detail that conveys harmony and a sense of home. We loved everything about it, and it even inspired us with ideas for our own house renovations. It was a true pleasure to stay here, where we felt amazing throughout our visit. A special mention goes to Domenico, who, in addition to being a very kind host, also provided enjoyable and meaningful conversation. If you are looking for a high-quality, elegant place and a complete experience while exploring the area around Etna, this choice couldn’t be better.

    Liked · If you desire absolute tranquility in the middle of an orange orchard, spacious accommodation with room to yourself and to play and frolic with your children, then La Parrinara is the perfect holiday destination. A private pool, fresh orange juice daily...and a piano! :) You will get a lot of value for the price. If you have a car, it's half an hour to the sea (and beautiful Taormina), 15 minutes to Gole dell'Alcantara, 1.5 hours to Etna... Disliked · There's a few things in the house that need fixing.

    The apartment has spectacular views from all the rooms.

    The apartment has spectacular views from all the rooms. Very large ans spacious apartment, fully equipped with all amenities. The owner is very helpful and has an office in the same block which makes her very accessible.
