Furore is around 15km from amalfi, sounds close but in reality due to the winding roads it takes around 25 minutes in a car/bus Furore is quite spread out so you need to take that in to account when staying there. Car/moped is the best method of transport followed by the bus, walking is an option but be prepared for many steep hills. This is a perfect base to get into amalfi, but be aware that parking in amalfi itself is challenging and the police/car towing companies are red hot!Guest review byMARKUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Small hotel, family business, with friendly staff. The hotel is in a fantastic location, it has its own stone beach and access to the sea. By car or bus it is easy to reach Amalfi, Positano, or any other town on the Coast. The restaurant in the hotel offers very good food at reasonable prices. We liked the location, as we had our own transport and could drive to other areas with beaches and shopping, it was so nice to come back to Furore which is perfect authentic Amalfi Coast Italy as the location is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. This is in a great location.
This is in a great location. It was more busy than I expected and driving around is tricky with the windy narrow roads. The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic.
The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic. We reached it by climbing down about 800 steps on the first day which was quite an amusing adventure. Second day we went by bus to save our leg muscles ! The beach was so enjoyable with panoramic scenes of the bridge on top and the mountain in the back. The water was so fresh and the beach boy provided comfortable chaise-long and drinks. At night we had a delicious dinner at Fico D'India restaurant on top of the mountain, quire stylish with a great view of the sea during the day time.Guest review bySamy

The small pool is such a beautiful location to read and relax and look at the view and a nice retreat from the heat. The breakfast is excellent and all food we had at the restaurant was great, some fresh specials every day and the kids were happy with the pasta and lemon sorbet. We would definitely visit again. Fjordo di Furore is a small but breathtaking beach accessible through one of the several stairways on the mountain from Hotel. The hotel itself is far from the busy tourist spots however, so one can enjoy a relaxing, calm environment and also a stunning panorama.
