Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! It's a great area, lovely countryside and two nearby very good restaurants. Is near Castelfiorentino which has good train connections to Florence and Sienna. You need a car if you are staying as we were a few Km outside a town. Taxis are hard to find.Guest review byO'SullivanTonga - 10.0

The location, the facilities, the comfort and quiet of a beautiful country side away from chaotic cities and large villages. We ate all around and visited historic places within about a 30- 40 minute drive including glass factory, wineries, restaurants, galleries and San Gimignano. Highly recommend you have a car. Roads are pretty good and I soon got use to driving on the opposite side which was my biggest concern as an Australian driver. Everything was lovely, very nice breakfast, very clean rooms and everywhere else, very helpful staff that couldn’t do enough for you, beautiful location,lovely swimming pool, everything that you need to relax and have a break. A village on a hillside with a beautiful main square. Casa de principe is a beautiful building with a nice garden to have breakfast at. Enrico, the owner is a star - the best host ever. He made a beautiful breakfast for us every day, Pistachio croissant with Italian cappuccino... the best :-) The room was air-conditioned which was necessary in the 40 Celsius heat.
