Beautiful hotel. Great views on the lake. Nice staff although not all speak English, which wasn’t that bad and actually added to the authenticity of the place. Good facilities: great outdoor and indoor pools, availibility of a tennis court; spa (which unfortunately we didn’t have time to try.) Avoid visiting in the summer, I think spring and autumn are much better for trips due to the extreme heat and traffic jams. Also, visiting the beach in Gardone is almost impossible. At the beginning there is a paid entrance, while in most surrounding places it is free. We liked - As we could (unfortunately) only be there for three nights and our schedule was very tight, we couldn't use the kitchen equipment, which was very good, or the garden areas. Our impression: everything very clean and well-kept - the hosts very accommodating and open-minded. The air conditioning is very effective and easy to use. WLAN and digital connections excellent. The breakfast selection was excellent and there are lots of sun loungers to lay by the lake and go swimming. The hotel is right by the ferry terminal and we used the ferries extensively during our stay. Gardone Riveria has a good selection of excellent restaurants and bars.
