A charming town that I chose more for its location as a stop for me along my route, but I was pleased to find myself in a friendly neighbourhood, only a short walk from a stunning little old town. I found a wonderful artisinal meat and cheese shop where I bought some additive-free prosciutto for a great price. Sadly, I didn't get the name of the shop as I'd thought it was on the carrier bag but it wasn't. We had a delicious dinner, trip to the theatre and a leisurely walk around town eating gelatos, and BnB Via Roma was the perfect base. It's centrally located, right down the street from the train station, with a fantastic balcony. The beds were amazingly comfy and Eugenio really looked after us.
