What a beautiful villa located in the green scenery of the Verona hills. The interior is outstandingly gorgeous with carefully curated vintage furniture and decoration. The staff is attentive and helpful and gives you a real feeling of warmth and care. We had a truly wonderful stay

I loved absolutely everything in this historic villa: magnificent halls and living spaces, authentic well preserved furniture, precious upholstery fabrics, works of art everywhere and wonderful Vivaldi music played in the morning; I loved every little detail in the Traviata room, which miraculously combines elegant historical authenticity with modern facilities; I adored the breakfast room, the elegant tables set with excellent bone china tableware, fancy crystal glasses and finest cutlery; the breakfast itself consists of the best quality foods; I loved the magnificent old garden which surrounds the house, with relaxing swimming pool under the ages old trees, which during the night turns in to some magical place with its illuminated sculptures and the cypress tree alleys under the full moon… But above all, the most amazing are the hosts, the very kind, very intelligent very cordial people, who preserve this magnificent place with love and attention to every single detail, and who treat their guests as royalty and at the same time as the dearest friends. Thanks a lot for the amazing stay, dears!

We had a great experience during our three nights stay in this beautiful villa hotel. The villa itself is like a museum. The owners make a lot of efforts to maintain the traditional decorative settings meanwhile having installed modern facilities. The entrance hall and the big salon upstairs are very impressive with antique wall and ceiling decorations, furnitures, paintings, statues, music instruments, etc. Breakfast is served in antique porcelains and table wares. The room we stayed is completely renovated with traditional furnishings and beautiful spacious bathroom. We enjoyed the very old trees and well selected plants in the garden. There is even an old chapel as part of the building to hold wedding ceremonies. The owners are very nice people and are very knowledgeable on this area. The restaurant nearby offers delicious food.

We enjoyed everything! The friendly and attentive staff offered the best service we have experienced, and definitely were one of the highlights of our stay in Verona. The facilities are modern and clean. The breakfast varied and bast is worth paying for. Finally, the location is two steps away from the anfiteatro.

    Grezzana is located near Verona the home of “Romeo and...

    Grezzana is located near Verona the home of “Romeo and Juliet”. Grezzana itself has some small eateries and a few bars and service station for fuel. There are a number of buses a short walk from the hotel to take you to and from Verona for a few euros and a twenty minute ride if that. I would not bother to drive into Verona, you would struggle to find parking etc. Grezzana is a small place with working vineyards nearby. “La Pergola” is a fantastic hotel and the staff are excellent. They have a restaurant with reasonable prices located inside the hotel. I recommend the hotel highly.

    Beautifully furnished spacious rooms with big kitchen where hostess made us 3 freshly baked cakes with coffee juice and bread and jam for breakfast. Really comfy beds and well equipped bathroom. Quite an industrial town but great pizza restaurant our hostess recommended..really friendly and helpful. Great for a 1 night stopover to visit Verona.Thankyou and I would definitely recommend b and B Gemma to other travellers!

    Dear Pietro and family, thank you very much for the wonderful stay at your beautiful, special place. Wauw, What a great view to wake up every morning. You are a lucky guy to live here ! The breakfast was excellent with all the fresh made pie's and cake. We felt really " at home". The surrounding is also very good, lot to see and to visit. Venice nearby and Verona also.     We spent just one night here on our way back from our holiday in France. This place is absolutely amazing. Quiet location, gorgeous house, modern and stylish apartment with beautiful views on the vineyards, olive trees and nightly Verona. Paola is very friendly, generous and hospitable, her breakfast was excellent. We also met Claudio who was also very friendly. This was simply unmissable and we hope to have the opportunity to return sometime. Thank you very much.

    Excellent hotel, with a great breakfast every day. The restaurant served excellent food 5 days a week. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean with plenty loungers. Only 20 minutes by car to Verona and 1 hour from Venice Milan and Bologna. The staff were super helpful. They had bikes you could explore the local area on for free. The towns had a pizza / takeaway and a supermarket. Everything you could want from a hotel stay.

    Micaela was very welcoming when we arrived. Our rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed. We also had a traditional breakfast in the morning which was delicious, the homemade cakes especially! Micaela also gave us useful tips for getting around Verona. Thank you!

    Lovely setting, excellent staff, plenty of parking, nice having dinner under the trees. Read a review about having difficulty finding the hotel entrance, so just had a look on Google Earth before getting there.
