The location, the friendly and helpful staff, the general atmosphere, the lovely room, the delicious food both at dinner and breakfast are all reasons why I keep going back. I have stayed at many hotels in the dolomites over the last 8 years, and this is the best one by a decent margin!

Perfect location, everything is convenient and thoughtfully designed. The owners are truly warm and welcoming, make you feel at home. Every detail shows beauty and functionality. The SPA is a real highlight – outdoor jacuzzi with breathtaking views, relaxing saunas with a gentle scent, and spotless cleanliness throughout. Breakfast is excellent. Talking about hotel I was really impressed. I stayed in 5 stars hotel in Alta Badia, but talking trully Gran Risa Hotell in some points is very much better. Welness and SPA zone - incredible. Really amazing. Dinners really surprised me a lot, because I never expected "Michellin star's quality" in 3 stars hotel. Level of Hospitality - somethig that it's hard to deliver, because it's impossible to describe with words, you have to feel it. Talking hinestly it was one of the best places that I ever stayed.

    La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

    La Villa is a great place to situate yourself in the Alta Badia region. I highly recommend it during the fall. The fall colors are GORGEOUS! Easy access to trails and a quick ride over to St. Cassiano, La Val and Corvara!

    A small town next to a better known Corvara.

    A small town next to a better known Corvara. We came ot Dolomites for road cycling so I will comment on the location with that in mind: it's nearly the perfect location for road cycling trips as most of the famous routes including Sella Ronda bike day as well as Maratona dles Dolomites go right through it (Maratona) or very close to it (Sella Ronda). It's an easy access to the famours passess: Campolongo, Val Gardena, Sella, Pordoi, Valparola. Giau, Fedaia as well as the Furkelpass (Furcia) can also be reached if you are ok with a bit longer day on a bike (still within 80-100km loop)

    It was the best hotel I’ve ever been! Extremely clean, very friendly stuff who prepared spa and cocktails for us even though we arrived late in the evening. They even prepared birthday cake for me, and also helped with finding hiking trails around. Spa is really relaxing, you book it for personal use for one hour. A lot of activities to do around-hiking, bikes, skiing. They are pet friendly so we didn’t have any problems to stay with our dog. And also good parking

    Great localization (200 meters from the nearest ski lift which was connected to Piz La Ila - the main gondola in La Villa). Our room was VERY clean, warm & comfy, all the needed equipment was in the kitchen for us to use. We also had a beautiful view on Dolomities. Free parking. Friendly staff. Restaurants, shops & bakery nearby. Just perfect.
