Every detail of the house was tastefully chosen. Super clean. Had everything for cooking. Lovely views from the second floor. Romantic atmosphere. The alley to enter the house, was the most beautiful scene from all the towns we visited.

The country house is a magical place, with beautiful garden, where each apartment can find its own area. The view around the property is astonishing. The apartment itself was nice and clean, with vibe of an old italian house. If you want, it’s very close to Volterra (20 min) or San Gimigiano (35 min), so it’s quick to go for a lunch or dinner there. High value for money, highly recommended. It’s just a great place for a trip around Tuscany.

The most amazing place in which you can stay. The nature, the view. The host are amazing really no words to describe them. They have their own olive oil that you need to try. Also they are making everything by themselves selfs from sour brad to jams. Everything is amazing. Don’t forget to watch sunset from the swimming pool. It is also equipped with everything that you need. There is also a charger for electric car. Ones again thank you for tour warm welcome and for sure we will comeback

I can't get over the delight of the apartment, the city and the host - Alessandra 😍 The apartment surprises with every decoration, everything fits together beautifully and is also a quiet and nice place with full equipment. Cleanliness in the apartment at the highest level. The view is also charming. The streets in Lajatico are so beautiful - flowers and plants everywhere and at night the streets are atmospherically lit.     Breakfast was LOVELY - the homemade apricot yogurt was our favorite thing. The views are unmatched - the idyllic Tuscan countryside we had imagined was better than expected. Loved lounging by the pool in such an oasis. Also a great home base for day trips to surrounding towns. 10/10 recommend. The best part: THE STAFF GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. We accidentally left our baby's blanket in our room on departure and the staff mailed it to our next hotel in Rome! We got it just in time and are ETERNALLY grateful! Grazie mille!

    This is a nice holiday house with around 10 apartments. Each has assigned dining area outside, which is a very nice idea. There is also a sufficient number of sun beds around the pool and in the surrounding area. The location is close to a main road but not so close that noise is a problem. It is better to have a car for morning grocery. The closest shops are ca. 2 km. away in Laiatico. In principle one can walk there but I don't think it's a nice walk. Washing machine and dryer simplify longer stay.

    Me and my partner booked a last minute stay at Il Maramaldo. We chose the room because of the comfy bed, and clean interior. The location is perfect at walking distance from restaurants and bars in Lajatico. Breakfast was as you would expect for a hotel this size. Compliments to the friendly staff & keep it up!

    Beautiful hotel; very clean, pleasant views from some of the rooms (rear) and the grounds and has lovely outside areas around the pool and a lounge area with books and games. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast.
