The breakfast was a free coffee and sweet roll at one of three local bars a few steps away from the room. A nice way to start the day! The mattress and pillow was super comfortable. We slept really well. The room was very quiet with windows that eliminate outside noise. A very nice clean and large bathroom with all new fixtures. We loved the furnishings of the room and the high painted ceiling.

Everything was well thought and accessibile. The owner helped us at every occasion, giving us overall a fantastic experience. The pool and garden are clean, modern and well organized. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and recently renewed. I would definitely stay at Ciliegia di Lari again and I cannot recommend it enough :)

We stayed one night in this house, because we went to Bocelli's concert and wanted an accommodation unit as close as possible. To be honest, we didn't expect from the photos seen here on Booking, that this house would give us such a positive vibe. Indeed, we felt like at grandma's house. With the necessary facilities and very clean inside. The host, Paula, italian grandma, was very nice to us. And she leaves near, in case you need something. We recommend it, if you want to feel like you are living in an authentic Italian house.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The room was incredibly large, super clean and very cool for the summer with multiple aircons. The entire property itself is tucked away in the hills, with incredible surrounding and the entire castle itself is different and special. Lots of history and character to it. We loved it. The manager and staff were super helpful, as we arrived really late at night. Everything was ready for us and we checked in virtually by sending over our details so we had access to our beautiful room when we arrived. The following day we had a car rental and wine tasting all sorted for us immediately- so this was a super smooth and relaxing stay. Lastly the food for breakfast was just right and delicious and do was the dinner service.

Everything ! It was a very nice experience, away from the tourist crowds but still close to everything, Pisa, sea, Volterra, Lucca.... After a hot day, you can cool off in the very clean and well-maintained swimming pool. The property is also well maintained.

    Lari really is a hidden gem in the Tuscan hills.

    Lari really is a hidden gem in the Tuscan hills. A hill-top village complete with a castle, lots of back streets to explore, restaurants/bars...and 360 degrees breathtaking views! And not overtaken by tourists even like some other towns in the area are. Centrally located too - just 25 minute drive from Pisa airport, and 20 minutes drive to the coast. I'll be back!

    If you want to experience real authentic life in a Tuscan village, the tower studio is for you. The accommodation is in the immediate vicinity of the Tuscan town Lari, which is just waiting to be explored. It is in a strategically favorable place for visiting other Tuscan cities, if you organize day trips yourself. We visited Pisa, San Gimignano, San Miniato, Livorno with car and Lari within walking distance from the accommodation. Yvonne is an extremely helpful and friendly host, always ready to advise and help.

    Everything is great A wonderful villa. Ideal for a trip for two or a large family or a group of friends. Four separate bedrooms. Large well-kept territory. A gorgeous closed veranda where you can have breakfasts, lunches and dinners. If you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you need and even more. Excellent location. Close to Florence, Pisa, Lucca. Francesca and Lia are responsive and sensitive to your wishes and requests.

    Really lovely place with great views over the valley! The city of Lari has 3-4 restaurants and a great gelato shop and there are plenty of great restaurants in the surrounding cities. Nice and helpful owners.
