The included breakfast was unbelievable. The view from breakfast and from the room was the nicest view on our trip to Italy. The bathroom was quite cool and it's always a plus to have a double sink. Very very modern. The room was huge with two AC units and two single pull out beds.

Excellent place to stay while visiting Liguria. Picturesque, not too many tourists around at the end of September. Easy journey on the boat to Cinqueterre, frequent buses to the train station in La Spezia or 30 euro taxi. Good sandy beaches, free and pay ones. Many restaurants and cafes, very safe area for evening walks.

Lerici is not the most beautiful place to stay at the...

Lerici is not the most beautiful place to stay at the Italian coast, but it is near beautiful villages. The center is outdated and a bit shabby with low to medium quality restaurants. But it is great to take a boat trip and cool down on the sea. Parking is difficult, so make sure you have arranged that with the hotel. We had to park 10min walk from the hotel. With high temperatures you really have to plan your trip.

The historic part of Lerici, even though it was not high...

The historic part of Lerici, even though it was not high season, was clean and tidy, although there were construction works on the promenade. Plenty of places to eat in this part of town, bars, restaurants, etc. Just a shame I didn't find a artisan bakery with baguettes and croissants and other bakery goodies. The pizzeria with the charcoal stone oven (Pizza farinata al taglio Gabbiani) on Via Oronte Petriccioli was great.

Lerici still retains the charm of a typical Italian fishing village hence some very good seafood restaurants it is experiencing some modernising by creating an artistic promenade by the sea very good for walking and watching the activities of the harbour

Lerici is a very nice place at the southern end of the Gulf...

Lerici is a very nice place at the southern end of the Gulf of La Spezia. Nice old town and nice hotels along the beach. If you visit try to book a room with a seaview. I like to stay here when i have work in La Spezia, it gives a holiday feeling on the business trip.

Ferry trip to Porto Venere and exploring there was a highlight of our trip. We walked to San Terenzo and to Tellaro as well - lovely little villages. Sunset up at Lerici castle is not to be missed either

Very reasonably priced but decent and fairly new accommodation just a few bus-minutes from the center of Lerici. Bus connections at least once in hour (but not late evening), so you can park the car at the hotel and just ride and walk. Tickets sold at the reception. Interesting entrance through an elevator. Very nice staff. The owner is taking personally care of parking so that more cars could be fit.

There is indeed parking, but don't worry about booking an apartment in Lerici itself, because parking in the town is usually full. From that location, you'll only be able to get to the beach by car, as it's a long walk and there are no sidewalks. Paid parking in Lerici costs €10 per day or €1.50 per hour.

Amazing hosts, stunning architect designed apartment and amazing location. Beautiful fixtures and fittings and almost every detail thought of. I took my mum on a road trip through Italy for a special birthday and the place, setting and surroundings were perfect, as were the hosts.

Hotel Florida is a beautiful hotel, the Staff were so friendly and very helpful. We were lucky enough to get a room with a sea view, it was beautiful. The breakfast was very good, a good selection and plenty to eat. The beach was very busy, but it was clean.
