We particularly loved the beautiful view of the historic center from our window and the soothing sound of the river while falling asleep. The room had the most comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom.

I absolutely loved the service and the warm, friendly hospitality from Mrs. Emanuela, the host. She was incredibly flexible and welcoming, which made our stay feel so comfortable. The breakfast she provides is simply delicious, she even bakes some of the items herself, which adds such a lovely, personal touch. Although we didn’t spend much time at the property due to my work commitments, everything was exactly as shown in the photos. The sofa bed, bathroom, and all the facilities were clean, comfortable, and definitely great value for the price. I truly can’t recommend this place enough!

Very homely stay in a nice house (ground floor) with access to a shared swimming pool. A great host, very accommodating. From this location you can drive up the mountains or explore Chianti region or commute to Florence (6 euro ticket and free parking by the station, 15 min drive).

I would rate this place 11 out of 10 if I could. It is a hidden gem, where one can fully disconnect and recharge. The room is spacious, very clean, with a stunning view and old beautiful furniture. The nights are so quiet and the sky is full of stars. There are only 2 rooms in the property that guests can book, so it feels like you have the place of your own. There is lavender, olive and fig trees in the garden. Lorenzo is growing all the vegetables himself and there is also the bee farm so the whole place feels very cozy. Lorenzo is a great host doing an awesome job, so welcoming, so kind hearted. Breakfasts were sweet and in abundance and dinners were made with love and following nonna recipes. If you are a fan of hiking as I am, there are multiple hiking paths nearby and almost a private path to the river. Andof course Chako, Gala and Krucho :)

A magical place in the heart of Tuscany. Poggitazzi enchants with its peaceful atmosphere, beauty and authenticity. The apartments are spacious and stylish, and the pool with a view is simply stunning. But the true gem of this place is the owner - warm, kind and incredibly helpful. Thanks to her, we felt like welcomed guests, not just tourists. We’ll definitely be back!

    Loro Ciufenna has everything you expect when traveling Italy: a small historic center with a small river floating through it; a pizzeria, and last but not least the best ice cream in Tuscany at Gelateria Al Ponte🇮🇹 All well know cities and sights are reachable within 1h or less drive ( Firenze, Arezzo, Sienna, Cortona, The Mall, Chianti Wine Areas) We stayed at Agriturismo Antico Borgo Poggitazzi which is only 10 minutes drive away from Loro Ciufenna.

    The apartment was simple traditional Italian which was beautiful, just right for us. Easy reach of breakfast terrace & the pool, & dips in the river our balcony overlooked. Easy going with children. Gorgeous grounds, photos didn’t do justice to sense of space, lovely friendly service & buzzy atmosphere with locals enjoying the river. Perfect stroll down the drive to the historical village with ice cream, bar, cafe, grocers, Monday market & couple of restaurants. Loved the place & hope to return! X

    Big clean rooms, helpful & nice owners, nice pool area with beautiful view, tables in the yard that you can use, nice and quiet surroundings. Don’t miss a visit to the old Poggitazzi farm house (just beside the Agriturismo), Loro Ciuffenna (10 min drive), Gorgiti - to swim in the Ciuffenna river (20 minutes drive), the restaurant La Torre in Loro Ciuffenna and La Cantinella 2.5 km from Poggitazzi.

    The staff was very friendly and gave the property a family feeling. One person spoke English and was very available to assist. The interior and decoration could definitely be freshened up though it has its charm as a family hotel without pretense. The swimming pool is definitely a bonus after a hike on the mountain. The location right on the trail was clearly the main reason we stayed here.
