We loved our stay at the hotel Catullo. The staff are fantastic, the location is great (next to the town centre but quiet, and a two minute walk to the funivia). Everything is super clean. We loved the pool, the view from the balcony and the breakfast.

What an amazing hotel! Not only does it have wonderful views, it was also good food and friendly, service-oriented staff. The pool was a bit cool but it was nice in the heat, it also had a good location with a view of Lake Garda. We got an upgrade on our room and got a really nice room with a lake view. It's a clean and tidy hotel and it wasn't particularly expensive in the bar either. It was pure relaxation to spend 2 days here, we wish we had booked a longer stay! Thank you for allowing us to spend part of our honeymoon with you at Querceto. We hope to be able to come back in the future. Kindest regards, Anna and Magnus

Nice hotel, very friendly staff/owner, nice area. However, if I visit Gardalake again, we will choose a location higher up in the mountain where the street not is the only place to take a walk.

Everything was lovely. Hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were cleaned daily. Staff made us feel welcome and we were well taken care off. Big bonus was the restaurant where we dined a few times. Tasty italian food and a nice wine selection.

    Lovely town with lovely restaurants and bars.

    Lovely town with lovely restaurants and bars. Can get a little busy during the day and at night, but we ate just a little earlier to avoid waiting too long. Great base to explore the top of Lake Garda

    Malcesine is a great little village and Hotel Malcesine had some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Be aware that the gondolier to Monte Baldo is incredibly inefficient and you can spend over an hour waiting to get onto the gondolier and even more getting back Having said that I would absolutely recommend going up Baldo for the breathtaking views. But take a book!

    Awesome place to visit - lots of charming streets and lovely bars and restaurants and quaint shops. It quitens down on an evening when day visitors go home ! Castle worth a visit views from Tower are awesome / too many lovely restaurants and coffee shops to name ! Loved swimming in lake past the castle ! Visited Monty balding last time so didn’t do this time but fab trip if visiting!

    Malcesine is a busy town spread down the east side of the lake. It has a frequent bus service which is not expensive and easier than trying to find somewhere to park! There is a wide range of hotel accommodation to suit most budgets. The beaches are pebbly, but the water is very clear so great for swimming or just cooling off. There are plenty of places to eat, again to suit most budgets and tastes. This was our second visit to the area and we will certainly return.

    My second time visiting Malcesine, the best place to be if...

    My second time visiting Malcesine, the best place to be if you're wanting a town with a buzz and plenty of activities. I've been twice solo but having been the second time round I would definitely recommend travelling with another person/group here, I felt that groups tended to stick to themselves.

    Perfectly located - stunning views across the lake from our balcony, and a short walk from the centre of Malcesine - shops, restaurants and harbour whilst being in a quiet area. Absolutely loved it.. Good daily breakfast and super helpful and friendly staff. Good A/C. We were even able to get laundry done at no extra charge Malcesine is a perfect base for visiting the whole Lake Garda area and is well served by road and ferry service.

    Fabulous hotel - right on the lake with the lake room and balcony a great choice! Free sunbeds and steps into lake made this perfect. Great food also (other restaurants in Malcesine just did not compare!). Tasty, fresh and made in their own kitchens (with 10% discount) and attentive staff made this a great choice. Maybe hotel is a bit dated, but it’s a fabulous location, comfy and clean.

    Quiet setting with stunning view over Lake Garda. Bright, clean and spacious accommodation with big terrace/balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized swimming pool with pleasant surround with sun loungers. Just 5 minutes walk to the lake and 35 minutes walk to the lovely town of Malcesine. Close to bus stop for travelling to neighbouring villages on the East side of the lake.

    We loved our stay at la pergola, it situated nicely just a stroll away from the old city centre of malcesine and lake garda. The roof terrace has an absolutely stunning view on to the castle and the lake. The apartment was very clean and the host more than helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there.

    Amazing location Great host Perfect to explore Malcesine and explore more of Lake Garda. Really helpful host, even collected our bags from the apartment and took to our car. Free car parking throughout the duration of the stay.
