    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    The most important thing it is near to Venice You can avoid very expensive accommodation and difficult parking in venice It is mainly small port city but quite and clean There sre several restaurants and super markets

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    The hotel is conveniently located. Nearby is a bus stop to Venice, a ticket office, a large store and restaurants where you can have dinner. The room is clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. There are breakfasts and delicious coffee. I recommend the hotel for short stays when visiting Venice. Optimal price-quality ratio.

    Comfortable apartment, in a quiet residential location in what seems to be a commercial/industrial area. Close to public transport (bus) made getting into Venice very easy. The town of Marghera itself does not hold much tourist interest in my opinion but is a good stop if you have a car and don't want to drive into Venice

    Very nice hotel with a major advantage of being very close to the bus stop. The bus takes your directly to Venice and it takes 10 minutes. Free parking, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is pretty basic but good. There are a few pretty good restaurants nearby.
