Announcements in English as well which is a bonus. Milan is a cosmopolitan city with many cultural offerings. Its people are welcoming, informative and eager to share its past. Subway trains are very easy to navigate. The city is very walkable. Transport to and from Malpensa airport is cheaper and quicker by bus rather than train, if travelling locally by train e.g. Bergamo. Get a ticket from the Transnord office (green signage) preferably the day before! The big guys like Trenitalia will just send you there.
