Excellent location, the very center of the little town. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and modern. End of September, there wasn't a problem finding a parking place. We left our car in a street nearby, paid at the parking meter. The owner was very kind, answered promptly to every question. The self check-in was easy to follow, it was explained to the detail. All in all, it was a great stay, I highly recommend this place!

Luciana was very kind and thoughtful. I came from the airport by public transport and hadn't realised how long it would take. He came to bus stop and waited for me to guide me to the house. Although he doesn't speak English he uses a very good app on his phone so communication was easy. He showed me how everything worked, answered questions, advised and was quick to solve any diffi lties. He made me feel comfortable, welcomed me like a friend. The flat itself is amazing - a huge corner bath with jacuzzi fittings, finest soft sheets, induction hob, coffee machine, terrace to sit oyt on, lemon tree...It's perfect!

    The cathedral is one of the finest in Sicily and is a must visit. The complex is beautiful and can be viewed from the top level of the cathedral. Exquisite embroidered vestaments and silverware, accessories and ceramics are displayed on different levels of the staircase. The village is quaint with good restaurants.

    Lots to visit, but our timing was terrible and it was raining. The cathedral is a must, but we didn't arrive in time before they closed. Same with the other museums. The city is walkable and there are lots of cute restaurants. You really need a full day there to appreciate.

    Monreale is a city built on the side of the mountain, so be prepared to walk up hills and stairs! The big attraction there is the Duomo in the main square which is just beautiful in the inside as the artwork is done in gold! You will have to pay an entrance fee, but it is worth it. The streets can be a bit of challenge to navigate as there are street vendors, cars, vespas, bicycles and pedestrians all trying maneuver through the narrow streets. Monreale gives you a beautiful view of Palermo and the ocean.

    We spent only an afternoon here, but so glad that we included it on our trip. The cathedral was the most beautiful we had seen on our trip to Italy - we also visited ones in Palermo, Cefalu, and Catania. There were several interesting restaurants on side streets near the town center and we found a lovely ceramic/mosaic shop just off the central square. Views were amazing and it was an easy car ride to the airport for our departure the next day.

    Very good position in Monreale, bus stop to Palermo out front. The views from the balcony overlooking the valley to Palermo are breathtaking. One double bed not two. VERY steep driveway, especially for a big car. However the owner, a very kind man, is happy to drive your car up and down so this is not an issue. Definitely recommend this place.

    Centrally located in the ❤️ of Monreale. Clean and comfortable rooms equipped with all the necessities. The staff are very helpful and ready to share useful information. The lady at the breakfast was very nice preparing a fresh breakfast. Garage is also available and can be reserved in advance with a reduced price.
