We enjoyed our stay very much. The setting was beautiful with stunning views!! The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially, Era, the puppy!! Renaldo, Aldo and Maria couldn’t be any better. The meals were excellent and plentiful with the best cappuccino and wines. We even had fun with the language differences and communicated well.

A super friendly, English speaking lady checked me in. A large and beautifully build hotel, in a pretty mountain top village. It has rightfully a rustic feel to it and immaculately maintained. My room was wonderful, large, bright and super clean. The large size balcony overlooking the endless green fields and snow peaked mountains was fabulous. I later found that the lady who checked me in, is the younger generation of this family-run-and-created hotel. She tirelessly answered all my questions and suggested a fantastic pizzeria for dinner. There is also a very nice cafe, just down the hill from the hotel.

Large pretty property, though hard to tell from the outside because of the renovation work currently being done. Good-sized bedroom, comfortable bed, tasty and extensive breakfast, and an excellent and very well-priced restaurant. House wine was pretty good, as was the range of draft beers on tap. Food was a highlight of my stay, along with the helpful staff who provided lots of tips for hiking in the Grand Sasso area and provided detailed maps as well. Definitely a place to stay if you are visiting the Grand Sasso area.

Wonderful views and lovely grounds, with authentic antiquity furnishings tastefully chosen and well-placed. We appreciated the close proximity to Isola and we enjoyed talking with the hosts, who graciously went above & beyond for us.

Very central in the historic centre opposte the Cathedral and overlooking the main square. Spotlessly clean, well designed with numerous thoughtful touches: coffee in the communal space, fridge, a kettle with tea and nibbles in the room. The entry system took some getting used to but once mastered worked well. Worth reading the instructions carefully before you arrive.

    This town was such a nice surprise.

    This town was such a nice surprise. A charming and historic Centro, with nice bars and delicious pizza. We enjoyed walking our dog to the Vomano riverside where there were plenty of spots to enjoy the view--and the snow-capped Gran Sasso mountains are spectacular. The old Zoccolanti Convent is interesting to visit, and it was hosting a Carnevale event. From the balcony of our lodging, we had a wonderful view of the river valley as well as a new fountain, complete with dancing water, lights and music.
