The place is absolutely amazing. Located in the tiny village in the less touristic part of Tuscany, the 11th century fortress offers a truly unique experience. The staff is lovely and the owners are super passionate about what they're doing. I would recommend joining some of the attractions organised by the hotel - we joined for a cellar tour with wine & cheese tasting and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had a room with a city view and it was truly unmatched - I would absolutely recommend getting a room with a view as it was one of the biggest highlights of the stay. The room itself was nice, albeit a bit small but this is to be expected considering how old (authentic!) the place is. Breakfast was nice and relatively varied for the Italian standards. To sum up, if you're looking for a romantic getaway or a calm weekend by yourself, please do yourself a favour and book this hotel! You won't regret it!

The property is located in the small village of Acquapendente. That would allow you to stay nearby Bolsena lake and all its small medieval villages around it, in the Italian Umbria region. The breakfast was great with plenty of high-quality bio products coming from local farms / small shops. They also keep an eye to sustainability with little to no plastic waste whenever possible and plenty of recycling bins around the building. The terrace was just amazing where we would eat something at their restaurant by such a stunning view on the hills and cozy vibes at sunset, all with an honest price. The staff was kind and made us feel welcome. Cleanliness was just perfect

Super beautiful apartment in the middle of the town, new and clean, it had everything I needed for the stay, owner super nice and friendly also helping before my arrival to find out about bus possibilities to Orvieto, communication fast and without problems, you should not miss this place. A lovely home in the quiet countryside along the via Francigena route. The place is seriously underrated (it should have more than a 10 rating!) and the pictures on booking does not do justice to the place. In actuality, the room (2 bedrooms) feels like a 5 star hotel with lovely decor, nice sheets, very comfortable pillows (unlike some other places we have stayed at for the same price) and bed. The garden was a really a chill area to rest after a long walk and the small outdoor kitchen was functional enough for us to cook some instant foods. Host was really lovely and generous.
