What a gorgeous place to stay! I can't believe we were lucky enough to find it. Right in the edge of the lake, with parking, lots of excrement walks nearby. Plus lots of food supplies in the house to start us off. It was perfect!

Casa Olea is an amazing option if you are visiting Lake Como - 10 min by car from Menaggio, it was the perfect base to visit the area without staying inside the confusion of the small famous villages. The hotel itself is spetacular, the refurbishment was done very tastefully and the whole hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable and had an amazing view to the lake. The shower was for sure one of the best showers I have ever used in my life, and the amenities by Comfort Zone provided a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent and everyone working there was very nice and welcoming. If you are visiting this area, book this place!

The setting at the edge of the water was beautiful. Our balcony, just a few meters from the lake. All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. We have already recommended Hoel Meridiana to others, and if we ever go back to Lake Como, we would not consider staying any other place!

A beautiful and intimate boutique hotel. Jessica gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, and we even received a complimentary upgrade such a lovely surprise! The view was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality highly recommended!

Everything was great at Locanda Capolago starting off from its location, to the impeccable state of the rooms, to the superb breakfast and outstanding restaurant and to the most courteous of staff. Starting from the location, it’s great because it’s not in the heavily touristic areas of Bellagio, Meneggio and Varenna which makes it quieter. Being further north we could enjoy the beauty of the lake and the mountains alike. Having a car makes the beautiful towns peppering the lake all within reach so Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and others were all within reach. The rooms are highly finished and beautifully decorated. They are cleaned every single day. Toiletries are provided and towels are changed every single day. The breakfast was truly outstanding. They not only provide a buffet but they give you a menu to choose your own breakfast which they prepare on the spot. The restaurant is amazing. We are there twice and we were not disappointed. No wonder it was always fully booked for dinner. And the staff were ever so helpful and attended to all of our needs. And a very sweet gesture was seeing us off with a small complimentary bag of biscuits. Little things that go a long way. Everything was top notch.

    Musso is a quite oasis in the busy area of lake Como.

    Musso is a quite oasis in the busy area of lake Como. Its a great place to stay if you like to go hiking or enjoy the lake. There were no restaurants open during our stay, but there's plenty of choice in just a ten minutes drive (Dongo, Gravedona and further). The "beach" doesn't look much but is in fact quite useful: it offers shadow during the afternoon and the water seems clean. A great place for a swim after a day out.

    I love the quietness of this town.

    I love the quietness of this town. We had an enjoyable time here. We took the ferry across the lake into Bellagio and had a wonderful time walking through the streets. The town of Musso is quiet and doesn't have a lot of tourists, but it's a fantastic "hub" to stay at, where you can choose a quiet day, or explore the area around, without having to drive too far. We rented a car, so we did not have to rely on public transportation. The streets are very narrow. A "heads up" that there is a lot of activity on the streets.

    Como is a very beautiful place, with its own wonderful micro-climate in the summer. The hotel is in a normal location, the closest civilization is Dongo, where you can shop and go to cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a kind of courtyard and each apartment has its own table and chairs on the veranda, where you can sit and have dinner. It's a pity that our room didn't have an awning above and in rainy weather we had to go into the room, and not calmly look at nature from the courtyard. The hotel has a good indoor parking.

    Modern clean apartment 2bathrooms Spacious downstairs Washing machine Quiet location if you want to get away from the crowds which suited us. Great location for Sasso de Musso hike. Best day of the hols was hiking this Mountain. You need good level of fitness as it’s uphill all the way. About 950 metres height gain as you start about 200 metres up. Path easy to follow. 9 miles in total. Good WiFi Lovely supermarket in Dongo 10mins away by car. Close to Mennagio

    Lovely and clean apartment, breathtaking view- pictures don’t do the justice. Private kitchen and terrace, shared pool also with great views. Super friendly staff! Musso felt very calm and safe, during weekdays barely saw anyone. 15min walk to nearest city Dongo, from where you can take ferry to all other city’s around lake Como. From what we understood ferry’s stop at Musso as well during summer which would be 5min walk. Highly recommended from our side!
