Did not know what expect...photos are only photos.. but this was upon arrival already a stunning moving painting. Great welcome by Gabriella (receptionist) and checked us in and offered us a free cold drink. The boutique hotel has been taken care of till the smallest details. They have in total 26 room and 6 different varities of rooms. So 26/6 is their credo. Family namecard hanging in the tree that welcomes you upon entry. Also on the breakfast table your name will be visible. The personal touch in this hotel is so good we hardly experienced it somewhere else before. Nothing is a problem, they will bring your drinks at the pool, free e-mountainbikes, free public transport card, great wifi everywhere.. just too much too mention. we will return and I will not write more happy stories otherwise I will not be able to book my room again because it is fully booked. :-)

The hotel was amazing and the facilities really made our break! The pools and park for the children was a big hit with our daughter, and the adults only areas and sauna etc a big hit with us adults! The apartment was clean and well equipped and very modern. The hosts were so accommodating, and friendly and was always on hand to help with any questions we had. Nalles is beautiful and in a lovely location for walking and bike riding (the free bikes were a lovely surprise - the river ride was great!) and in close proximity to Merano and bolzano on a train if you wanted the access to a bigger town. The station is well connected with buses so we found it easy to get around with no car. It was a fabulous stay!

The castle grounds and facility were beautiful, as was the view. The rooms were huge and castle decor incorporated original antiques which added to the authenticity of the castle experience. The staff were genuinely friendly as well as incredibly helpful and attentive. The restaurant was excellent. All in all a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back for subsequent visits.

Small extraordinary hotel on the hill in the middle of apple plantation and vineyard. Beuatiful view from room. Comfortable bed, all you need you can find in the room. Breakfast was perceft, selection very wide and delicious.     Our room had a large sun terrace overlooking the valley and incredible vineyards and mountain views. Terrace had sun loungers which can be used in good weather (We had rainy weather :() Furnishings in hotel are a bit old, but very well kept. It also has a nice indoor pool area, and sauna which was particularly nice in the bad weather we had during our stay. In summer, one can make use of the outdoor pool. Food for both breakfast and dinner was of very good levels.

    the place is very quiet; it's not really a hotel but a convention centre. Very clean and the single room was comfortable. I followed the restaurant recommendation and had a pizza at the nearby place. Good service and meal. The breakfast at Lichtenburg was ok and typical for the region. Payment and check-out quick and easy. Good parking.
