The property is a high level hotel. The rooms are very nicely equipped, having a large TV and also a comfortable large double bed. Although the hotel is not centrally located they offer a free shuttle to and from Naples city center. Mauro, the driver is very helpful with tourists, offering his local knowledge of the history of Naples and places of interest. He is also a very gentle person, like all the other employees,including reception staff, chambermaids and waiters. My next visit to Naples will definitely be at Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel.

The neighborhood is a bit rough but when you enter it is very clean and quiet. You cannot hear any noise from the streets. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Walking distance from the central station and historical center. The staff of Auroom is very nice and service minded. We felt warmly welcomed and we can really recommend this hotel.

The room was very nice and comfortable. It was well-equipped, with bathroom amenities, slippers, and many other thoughtful details that made our stay pleasant. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating and he even allowed us to leave our luggage in the reception after check-out until we left the city. Excellent hotel in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Naples, one which is not dirty nor tagged everywhere... The room was super big and furnished with a lot of amenities. We also appreciated the coffee, tea, biscuits. Everyday, the room was cleaned thoroughly and everything put in order. The staff was super nice and helpful, especially Laurine who helped us with the self check-in after 8pm with clear instructions.

We had a great stay! Everybody was friendly and made our trip as comfortable as possible. Starting with our first contact with Front Office Manager Gisella until our check out everything was good. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was good to start the day. The hotel was great to explore the city. We could walk to a lot of sightseeing spots and for wider distances we used the Metro in front of the hotel. It was also easy to reach the Station and get to Pompeii, Ercolano and the Vesuv.

Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and funicular railways. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of visitable tunnels and even a Graeco-Roman theatre which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artefacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

Must visit Pompeii, take a train from the main station, everyone is very helpful and understand/speak enough English to help you on your way. Take the bus share from the airport to the station, then buy a metro pass, but remember to stamp it before your first journey. Pizzas are amazing, and very reasonable.

    Great place to stay for a few nights and easy commute to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Restaurants are plentiful and we tried 3 different ones. Two of them were superb and one was a dud. That usually happens though wherever you go. Overall there was a lot of graffiti everywhere and quite untidy in a lot of areas. But we still really enjoyed our stay.

    Vibrant and noisy.

    Vibrant and noisy. A very interesting city and eye opening with the traffic and congestion. The crowds out on a Sunday were very large. Easy to eat cheaply while the National Archaeology Museum was fabulous

    Dreadful driving and motor scooters, with total disregard for pedestrians. Crossing even minor roads was fraught with danger. And too much pointless hooting of horns. Loved the museum of archeology, goes well with a trip to pompei or Herculaneum.

    I came to Naples to visit the National Museum of Archeology and the National Railway Museum and also several very early churches in nearby places, so I had very specific interests. The archaeology museum is among the most amazing museums in the world with ancient antiquities from Rome and Pompeii and Herculaneum and the railroad museum is the most beautiful railroad museum in the world. So there are good reasons to visit Naples, but it can be a challenging and dangerous place, not for the faint hearted...

    Our first trip to Naples, and we loved it.

    Our first trip to Naples, and we loved it. The narrow streets of the central district were so much fun to wander in, and there was lots to do throughout the city - shops, galleries, bars, churches. The underground and train lines were easy to navigate, and staff on hand to advise. We there there for the feast of San Genarro, when his blood miraculously liquified, leading to street parties, processions and fireworks. A fabulous city, and we're hoping to return.

    Not your usual hotel type of room but interesting with a story behind it. Our host Antonio was extremely helpful in all aspects of our first visit to Naples. On our arrival Antonio gave us an excellent introduction to the city including advice on what to see, where to eat and drink and how to keep ourselves safe. We also experienced unforgettable football event in the city. Naples team became the champion of Italy. They celebrated it with passion and vigor like we never saw before.
