One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital of Barbaresco wine (together with the Barbaresco village itself) which together with Barolo wine are among the two best red wines in Italy. Nice hill side village. However tourist beware that food , wine and accommodation are over priced for what is a nice but not marvellous location when compared to what is available in other parts of Italy. In hindsight I think we should have avoided this region of Piemont.Guest review byDonal

The property is beautifully located with stunning views of the vineyards and just a short walk to charming Neive. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the garden and pool area are perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was excellent – delicious coffee and amazing homemade cakes.
