Lovely town. ability to use ferry to go to MAddalena, which is also nice. There was a market every night from around 9pm. There was also events in the square on Friday and Saturday. Really lively. Palau is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Costa Smeralda. Its not too large and has a very friendly athmosphere. There is a beautiful beach really close to the apartment and there are so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a lovely Gelato shop all near the marina. There is a ferry that goes back and forth all day to Maddelena Island which is beautiful. You can either go on foot or take the car. We travelled all along the coast and found numerous wonderful beaches and stunning marinas. We would definitely stay there againGuest review bysueUnited Kingdom
