Mmmmm, absolutely stunning little island, too crowded in august, some visitors disrespectful of island throwing rubbish where ever for example, and of staff in hotel and Restos, a lot of entitled people seem to visit here. Visited specifically to visit Stromboli, long and complicated travel and expensive hotel but happy to pay as Stromboli was to be the highlight. Booked boat trip on last night and was let down by boat company with no apology or attempt to fix and no time to rearrange. The location was divine - you have one of the best views in Panarea - from sitting on the deck in the sun for breakfast, to lazing by the pool in the afternoon, and a nice sundowner spritz back on the deck - it’s all fantastic. We were there in mid May, so it wasn't peak season on the island yet, but the service we received was still excellent - they even collected us from the ferry and took us up the hill in a golf cart, which was a nice break with our bags!
