Wonderful in every way , from the location just on the outskirts of this beautiful village . to the room with exposed brick work ,very comfortable beds , power showers . lovely break fast , but the really cheery in the cake where the most helpful staff. who made us fe so welcome.

great little apartment for winter ski area with short drive to main ski zone. very warm comfortable apartment for families or small group. Central location with short walk to many lovely cafes, bars, churches and little boutique shops. Highly recommend.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the toiletries provided every day was not only useful, but very well selected and rich in feel. There was a splendidly broad selection for breakfast, and dinner was very lovely. As a non meat eater, the staff really went out of their way to make sure I was okay. It was also very kind of the staff to print out an English translation of the menu. The staff were extremely, friendly, helpful and efficient. We really could not have asked for more. The location is great, right on the edge of the piste. We'd have no hesitation in returning.

This is our 4th year in Roccaraso. This hotel is in the perfect location with parking. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable with the best bar in the village attached to it. Lots of good restaurants within short walking or easy driving distance. The ski slopes are a short 10 minute drive away.

    As we were at the very top of the village, we decided to...

    As we were at the very top of the village, we decided to drive to a car park level with the old village, which was free, opposite a park. The village itself was beautiful, with many churches to visit that were well cared for. There were quite a few bars and restaurants, but as we were out of season (end June) not many were open, but that did mean the village was quieter, which we prefer. If travelling at this time of year, probably best not to rely on eating out, but self-catering, as we did.

    Good sized apartment with garden and quiet surroundings in Pescocostanzo, with two proper bedrooms. Excellent and speedy interactions with owner, and easy access via neighbour. Kitchen small but perfectly functional (cooker, oven, good sized 'fridge). Clean, and calm location. Good shower.

    The highlight of La Rua B&B is always the warmth and hosts Luigi, Giuseppe, and Elisa, who maintain this lovely B&B in charming Pescocostanzo. We are part of the family for a few days and will certainly return to LA Rua whenever we can.
