First of all, I really loved the personal and friendly approach of the hosts. They came every morning with delicious breakfast and made fresh coffee for us. They also brought sweets and focaccia. This BnB is really charming. It is situated in a small village with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious, airy and bright. So comfortable and spotlessly clean. Antonio the host can not do enough for you. He explained the history of Matera, what to visit and advised on where to eat. He really is a super host. Grazie mille Antonio. Also I want to mention his son Ilya(I hope I got the name right) who met us on the first night...we arrived quite late after midnight. He was also very friendly and helpful. Very nice family run business. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Matera.
