It was a pleasant surprise - not a room but huge apartment actually, with all appliances you may need ! One can prepare and have breakfast in the room at convenient time - host provides you with pastry, jam, bottled water, yogurt, milk… coffee from the coffee maker was excellent! Parking place in front of the building, with train station few minutes away. Lugano is 25 minutes by car. Highly recommended to explore the lakes area.

The swimming pool and tennis courts were a real bonus. The family were welcoming and generous: the lady brought cakes and other treats whilst Anthony gave Carol a great game of tennis (for her this was a highlight of her holiday). It has a nice location and outside area.

The staff is friendly and really helpful. We especially appreciated the driving directions prior to our arrival as well as advice on points of interest during stay. The rooms are clean, breakfast is efficient and the area is beautiful. We will definitely come back!

    Saturday market - make sure you get there latest 11-ish as they seem to pack up around 15:00-16:00 (winter time) Cafe Ofele a great place for coffee and cake and chilling on the cool swing chairs. Massage at Ashe Olistic di Mariela Walking along the riverside is so beautiful Just be aware of opening/closing time of restaurants Just browse and have fun

    Beautiful location on lake and mountains with walkway around lake close by. Easy access to good Asian restaurants and cafes (Jonny's) train and Swiss border. Would book earlier to get better accommodation.

    Beautiful border town with Switzerland.

    Beautiful border town with Switzerland. Plenty of restaurants, our favorite is Ristorante Dal Pescatore, directly on the lake front. Fantastic service and food. There are plenty of gelaterias and bars, try Johnny's. Plenty of nice walks and activities around the lake. We travel with our bikes and is ideal to get around.

    Location, balcony and view are excellent, the layout of the family room is pleasant and functional. The room is modern / contemporary and overall it has the potential to be great. The free Wi-Fi is fast enough and reliable. The staff of Hotel and Restaurant is very friendly (some moderate helpfull --> see below) and the price/quality of the restaurant is great. We had some of the best beef filets of the past five years. Service at diner and breakfast was very friendly and professional.

    Lovely place close to the most amazing Lugano lake offering quick access to both Italian and Swiss parts of the lake and many nice places like Morcote. We received much larger than expected apartment with own garden, which was a lovely surprise. Hot tub was also a great unexpected addition (available for all guests). Super friendly and helpful staff. Love Lugano lake as it’s very clean, accessible and not overcrowded with tourists like e.g. Como. You can swim in many places.

    Everything was perfect - the beautiful hotel, cosy accommodation, rich breakfast, pleasant lake location with mountain view and very kind staff in the hotel. Very nice hotel in Lavena Ponte Tresa. Furthermore the hotel has its own restaurant with amazing food.
