Nice beaches, plenty of fast food vendors, or dine-in restaurants if you prefer. Beaches were very clean, and locals very helpful. Prices were very reasonable too, with local shops providing local produce. For a real treat, try Cosimino Restaurant on Via Cosimo Albano; you can book a table overlooking the sea - its great food, and a fabulous atmosphere. It was not a noisy resort, in fact, we thought it was quiet, however, on weekends there was live music after dark. The city after season is empty and quiet. Walking beach promenada to the center of the small town is nice. Restaurants offer is very good. Who likes pizza can get one in self service restaurant - but don't worry - the taste was extra!Guest review byPaulPoland - 8.0

To get to the nearest beach from the hotel takes 20-35 min. Parking is expensive and we got a ticket for 30 euros just to unload the car. Hard to find the hotels as most of the people are tourists and signs are not visible. The hotel is centrally located with beautiful view, but you can’t swim as the view is a port and you have to drive to the nearest beach. Plenty of places to eat with variety of different menus. Few minutes walking by the beach but very convenint located on the main pietonal street of the city where you cand find actually everything. I appreciated the quite of the location, the room facing the inner garden, thus no noise. Extremelly clean, with daily cleaning service and a very good breakfast to start the day. All gone quite early and no noise. Lots of fish restaurants nearby, small supermarket close by. Great balcony for breakfast or drinks, lovely view over the busy harbour. Parking in garage was handy, but really for a smaller car only, and if you do want to get somewhere early in the morning then use the car park instead. Air con worked well. (we spent three nights in the B&B in May). Everything was very tidy and clean. Very good beds. Breakfast was copious with fresh fruit, cakes, delicious home-made jams and pies. The hosts were very friendly and gave us some good advice of what was to see nearby. Very good location to visit Lecce, Gallipoli and the coastlines. Beaches and restaurants nearby.
