The location was beautiful, a bit of a walk but the views were stunning and it was close to a supermarket. The room was large and we had complementary fruit and champagne on arrival. We had breakfast and dinner each night, dinner was 4 courses and a different menu each time! We were some of the last guests to stay before end of season so it was very quiet but the staff still made a great effort to help us have a nice stay. They were all very helpful.

It’s beautifully cared for with stunning views. Although a little outside Cannigione, the hotel has several options for those without a car. The beach is a leisurely walk, or golf cart away with a welcome bar! Absolutely every one of the staff were excellent,it felt very much like a family run hotel with no sense of stress. Although we arrived late, Guiseppe was happy to host us with delicious Sardinian wine after our long journey. The breakfasts are fantastic, I highly recommend using their restaurant. Thank you for the surprise Prosecco and fruit in our room, absolutely delicious. Lecie and Barbra also stood out as beyond helpful and happy; but to be honest, everyone was great at making this a must memorable visit, I’m excited to return!

    Porto Pollo is in an excellent position on the north coast...

    Porto Pollo is in an excellent position on the north coast of Gallura Sardegna. Not only are the beaches excellent, but it is easy to access the entire north coast from Cervo to Palau/ Maddelena as well as St Theresa for ferries to Corsica. There are many restaurants which are quite close, vineyards for wine tasting and small towns reflecting the true heart and soul of the area. Local tours ( we utilized Tours by Locals) give an added appreciation for the history and culture of the island and are highly recommended. Visitors are not overwhelmed by over inundation of the usual Roman architecture...but rather more of a middle age and Napoleonic 18th,19th and 20th century exposure to the area... This area is worth the visit. You absolutely need a vehicle. Andy and Lynda W

    The coastal views and surrounding rock formations driving...

    The coastal views and surrounding rock formations driving north towards Porto Pollo were some of the most unique and awe inspiring of all of Corsica. the port has numerous types of boats that you can hire to take you for scenic cruise of the most amazing coastline

    Porto Pollo is a great area in the Northern part of Sardinia...

    Porto Pollo is a great area in the Northern part of Sardinia, immerse in nature and offers so many activities (from windsurfing/wingsurfing and kitesurfing, to mountain biking, kayaking, SUP, hiking, ...you can do anything) Palau, the main town nearby, which also connects you to the other islands has all the main services. We ate at La Taverna, best place in town.
