We loved the rural atmosphere; you feel amongst a family farm in an old and remodeled masseria. We stayed with our two little Amsterdam dachshunds who quickly adapted and adopted their new doggy “pack”. The sweet farm dogs led us to a local river with a walk along fields. The beds were comfortable, the food was divine. We chose to have dinner there and Daniela made us feel very welcome and special. A homegrown flour was used for our cipolle bread, we had local buffalo mozzarella and cured meat, and a wonderful white rocket pasta for mains. Dessert of course was home made too using local products. Great shower pressure. Quiet and authentic with a wonderful host. This was the best stay on our entire journey.

The hotel had free parking which was easy to access from the street. The room, though small, was extremely functional. There were a few minor repairs needed (toilet seat had come loose, and the cover over the wand shower head hose pipe was detached) but nothing that detracted from its overall functionality. Also there was a grocery store straight across the road, very easy to access with a crossing outside the hotel. The breakfast provided was of a very high standard, with plenty of fresh fruit, and some exceptionally tasty croissants! The coffee was very average, but there were plenty of tea choices, and tea pots were provided which made it even easier.
