The location was exceptional, the hotel is great, offers a lot of possibilities for young and old, the staff is incredibly kind and genuine: an exquisite, picturesque and quiet spot on the Lago Maggiore. We stayed a week, had great weather and didn’t have a dull moment. What I personally enjoyed most were the sunrise from our balcony (breathtaking view!), as well as the aperitif in the evenings watching the sun go down. I loved also the walks with our dog (Cannero is a very dog friendly place) along the lake with exceptional views!

Superb location, excellent suite of 55sqm with magnificent views from 2 sides of the corner room (202). Half board was excellent and wait staff in particular were very welcoming and helpful. Great location to explore Lago Maggiore.

Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was good—all you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!

The hotel is right by the lake and has a beautiful view. We ended up staying in 2 different rooms because we stayed an extra night. We had a triple room and a lake view room. They were both really lovely and very reasonably priced for the location. The staff were really helpful moving our luggage from one room to the other. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. It doesn’t have parking, but there is plenty of parking nearby. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was again very reasonably priced.

    Premeno is situated in a quiet area.

    Premeno is situated in a quiet area. The building is somewhat dated, but with sufficient comfort to sleep well and have an enjoyable stay. The location is great for making hikes and having stunning views over the Lago Maggiore. However, it takes a 10-15 minutes drive downhill to reach the lake near Verbania. In Verbania there are plenty options to eat out.
