Nino was amazing. Before we even arrived, he made sure that we knew how to get there because often Google can be misleading (in Sicily). We didn't have to second guess directions! Every morning he brought us delicious croissants filled with cream (our choosing). We weren't expecting a kitchen, but there was one provided. It was well equipped with all the things you might need to make a full meal: pots and pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, tumblers, mixing spoons, wine openers. In renovating the apartment, Nino and Francesca thought of everything. We had forgotten an item at the place and they made sure that we got it back. The region where Al-Zabut is located is beautiful, there are plenty of things to see, but really Sambuca deserves its own deep exploration. It has deep traditions of art and artisanship. We stopped by Casa dell' Arte, as well as a metalsmith shop where the artist makes large art and it is displayed throughout the town. Many fabulous restaurants, and it is located in the middle of wine country (Menfi). It was an enchanting weekend and can't wait to go back.

The appartement was realy clean and spacious. Two rooms with a small kitchen with basic appliances. Small balcony with a mountain view. Perfect location in the old part of Sambuca. Few minutes walk to the nearest café, restaurants and other facilities. Parking just outside the door. Smooth communication with the owner and staff on Whatssapp. Comes highly recommended.

Very relaxing place B and B surrounded with lots of grape and Olive trees which where cultivated hosts were very friendly and welcoming , always ready to help . This place is excellent away from any disturbing traffic, but at the same time close to the main villages and beaches. Highly recommended for those who want to spend relaxing time. Interesting village filled up with museums bars, cafeterias and an amazing Belvedere.

    In Sambuca di Sicilia we realized that it is a gem in Sicily. Full of interesting museums kept in excellent condition with very helpful persons .We visit a few restaurants which we ate Sicilian food. Cafeterias and bars are very easy to find. Wine and Oil producers .There is an amazing few from Belvedere and there is beautiful lake. Sambuca di Sicilia residents are very helpful and welcoming .Quite village but for sure very interesting to know.

    Sambuca is magical!

    Sambuca is magical! We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful little town. The people are warm and gracious, and we were treated as family! The scenery, the attractions and the food made for a memorable stay.

    Sambuca di Sicilia is a hidden gem.

    Sambuca di Sicilia is a hidden gem. Winning the prestigious prize of Most Beautiful Village in Italy (Il Borgo più bello d'Italia) in 2016, there is so much to explore. There is a deep tradition of art and artisanship here. Lots of beautiful views and close to wineries that abound in the area. Google Maps can often give you a bum steer about roads, so make sure you look at the route before you hit start! We couldn't get enough of the beauty of this place and can't wait to go back!

    Very nice village.

    Very nice village. Strategically great spot for visiting beaches, mountains, vineyards and olive oil production locations nearby. The locals are very friendly, laid-back and local restaurants serve top quality food. Will be coming back.
