We stayed at Borgo Villa a Sesta for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The village is really beautiful and has a ton of great restaurants despite how small it is. The restaurant on-site has great food and a stunning view. It's the perfect spot to hang out for breakfast or a drink. There's a hot tub you can book, which was a really nice way to spend some time relaxing. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed.

The stand out feature were the staff - every single one was friendly, helpful and always happy with a “can do” attitude. The best team that we have been with over many years of travel worldwide. The restaurant was good and everything - all dietary requirements - was, with no exception, too much trouble. Three outside pools and plenty of places for groups to sit out and also for a more quiet relax away from others. Some manageable walks out of the hotel which is set in beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our suite was excellent and the whole property was unique: a village unlike any we have encountered before. It is a Retreat more than Resort and a car is necessary to travel more widely or a very easily organised and reliable taxi through the hotel. Siena is within easy striking distance by car or taxi.

Really friendly staff great food delicious breakfast. We ate in the restaurant in the evening the food was amazing the owner recommended a fantastic local wine the presentation of the food was 5 star plus and the taste matched. We noticed that all the staff both in the hotel and restaurant where really friendly we loved the place

    We have been to some towns and villages of Tuscany during our 8 day trip. Each of them has something for us to admire. In San Gusme you feel like go back centuries staying in amazingly well preserved medieval village. Especially in late evening when you walk home from village's restaurant through quite narrow alleys .
