    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

    The hotel is beautiful and rustic with a fabulous view of the vineyards. We had an amazing tour of the winery with Fabio. What a great guy, so passionate about his job. We had an amazing dinner overlooking the vineyard, a truly special experience with great service, great food, wine, particularly the Amarone classico 2019. Great breakfast arrangement with wonderful ladies serving us.

    Have been coming to this property for over 15 years or more and does not look tired. The property is as fresh and alive as when it was built into the luxury hotel. Nothing seem to have aged and looks great.
