A perfect location! It took me a while to decide where to stay and in the end a just picked one! Thankfully this was the best location in every way if you want the less busiest and less hills! The town, itself, does not have any cathedral of note or museums. It is entirely unremarkable in this regard. But, it is a perfect location to use as a base of operations to explore Tuscan wine country. This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there.
This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there. It’s a charming small town in a gorgeous setting. Each June, they celebrate the Festival of Barbarossa and dramatize historic events from the 12th century. The four quarters of the town each have their own flags, songs, competition teams, etc. and the spirits are high!! Great fun!Guest review byAnonymous
