The surroundings are beautiful, there are so many local recommendations we got for food shopping, interesting history and nature. A fairly typical south Italian working town. Reasonable selection of bars and restaurants, although quite widely spread over the town with a few good ones round a few of the piazza's. The town itself has quite a few empty commercial premises, which doesnt help. The main piazza could be a real attraction if a few more businesses could be encouraged there. We were a group of four adults and it was perfect for us but there are also some outdoor play facilities for families with small children. Spacious bedrooms and well equipped villa with fittings which look new. San Vito dei Normanni is a lovely small Italian town, with great places to eat and drink. The apartments are close to town, approx 10 min walk. Approx 30 mins drive from Brindisi airport.
