    Sarteano is a small, picturesque hilltop town.

    Sarteano is a small, picturesque hilltop town. It has a range of shops, bars and restaurants, a castle and a lot of typical winding streets. A good base from which to explore the local sights. While we were there we visited Siena, Monteriggione, Pienza and Montecchiello, Montepulciano and, one of the highlights, Bagni di San Filippo, where you can bathe in warm sulphurous waters.

    This is a beautiful small town.

    This is a beautiful small town. Favorite restaurant is Chiostro Cennini. All restaurants, bars, gelato store, supermarket, small grocery, pharmacy within easy walking distance of this apartment. The old town charm is everywhere and this city seems to be well loved and maintained.

Facilities brilliant , food fantastic, location to die for but what really makes this place is the staff ..absolutely the friendliest and fun welcome without ever losing professionalism . So good we stayed an extra night and had it not been for being at max capacity , we would have stayed a good few more . True Tuscan gem . Dream hotel .
