We came very late, and the Gentlemen who manages the Hotel picked the phone, guided us to where we parked the car and whowed us everything. I assume the rooms were new, ...however, everything was clean and very very nice. Wood everywhere and fits nice in the Alps. View from the balcony right into the mountains.

I travelled with a group of 10 who were staying in the Hotel Torre but due to a medical reason I needed to be more local to the center and chairlifts. The K2 was perfect for this, albeit there is still a steep climb to the Clotes lift. The ski bus stops directly outside if you want to go to the Sportinia lift and the hotel does have a secure boot room if required. The bar area was great, the whole group used it everyday after skiing and a few nights after our dinner. Prices are reasonable and regularly given free small baskets of selected canapes and crisps. Reception, breakfast room and bar staff were great and very friendly.

    Plenty of restaurants and bars, many family run and same staff for many seasons. Some hotels have minibus service to slopes, a new thing for Relais but great service. Been going for years and great for a short or weeks trip.

    Lovely traditional village with a few lively bars. Great access to Milky Way ski area and excellent value for money. Short transfer time from Turin airport. Pizza bar in village centre served tasty pizza slices and great price, always friendly staff there! Had a lovely meal at L'Ortiché, more expensive, but superb fine dining with good wine.

    A great ski resort with loads of skiing for intermediate skiers. Lovely wide open blues and reds for cruising skiing. The main lift out of the resort is up a hill about 150m from the centre. There is a free ski bus but we rented a ski locker under the Clotes chairlift from ABC (office right in the centre of the village) and you get a lovely heated changing room and locker for your boots, skis, helmet and gloves. Highly recommended. There is also a slightly cheaper option just next to the chairlift but you need to put on/remove your boots outside, which is fine if the weather is OK.

    I was there for skiing. Plenty to go at across the region. Lift passes are great value compared to similar size resorts in France and Austria for instance. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and apres ski entertainment. All the bars serve table snacks too, which is a nice touch. Regular bus service too if you prefer to hop on a ride to the ski lifts, but they're only.a short walk too, if you prefer a walk. Carrefour supermarket is good value too if you need to buy anything. All in all, an all round great place.

    Saux d’Oulx is an idyllic destination with charming restaurants within walking distance, stunning snow-capped mountains and slopes, and friendly, helpful locals. There are many trails to explore throughout the year, offering plenty of opportunities to discover the area. It’s a beautiful place to relax and spend time with friends and family. While there are tourists, it is not as congested as other areas, which adds to the charm and tranquility of this location.

    Sauze has a great range of skiing linking into the Milky Way...

    Sauze has a great range of skiing linking into the Milky Way and other close by resorts. English is widely spoken, food is reasonabley priced, ski shops abound. The resort is a little lower so snow has been patchy the last few years. In a week you couldn't ski it all.
