Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin.
Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin. The main street near Parco Wenner is just lovely - amazing cafetteria (Cafetteria Ricciardi) and bakery/deli - but the area around the train station is a little sketchy. But all that said, we walked back from Pompei at 10pm at night and didn't feel in any danger at all, lots of young people out and about.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 8.0

Everything was excellent - it’s clear that the staff truly care about the place and do their best to make every guest feel welcome. The rooms and facilities are very clean and modern. The breakfast selection is a bit limited, but I understand that this is part of the Italian tradition. The location is fantastic - very close to Mount Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii.
