The location was superb, the view fantastic. Close to incredible beaches. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and attentive The place was spotless, so clean. The pool was perfect. The restaurant 10/10, and you get discount when staying there. Breakfast was wonderful. . We didn't want to leave. Coffee lovely.

The location was simply stunning. The view over the landscape of the village and the surrounding nature were breathtaking and helped us to calm and relax. The silence and peace around, with no cars, no tourists, no noise was a big plus. The hosts were also very very kind!

Nadia was so welcoming and kind from the beginning to the end. The apartment is small but has everything you need. I was so happy to be able to do the laundry and lounge outside on the terrazza. The beach down below is amazing for relaxing and snorkeling. It’s a great location close to Scopello Baglio e Castellammare del Golfo.

Hotel Antica Casinca Del Golfo was the highlight of the trip. It was close to some restaurants with spectacular cliff and seaside views. There is also a pharmacy and market nearby. The ride to Palermo airport only took 45 minutes.

We didn't visit the beach.

We didn't visit the beach. We were resting up around our pool. We drove past it and it looked very pretty. However.... We were midweek in May (Good weather) and there were cars everywhere. Car parks charge and for a small bay/cove even this time of year too many people. I would guess peak season it would be ridiculously busy.

Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants. The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat. The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

Rocky Seaside with magnificent views. Steep descent to water. Not suitable for elderly people as paths to seaside dirt tracks Most seaside venues charge fee as privately owned . 10 -15 Euro. National park nearby with walks to beaches that are free with parking at a distance.

The host, Elena, was an accommodating, friendly and helpful host. She answered all of our queries about the area and gave very useful information on where to buy groceries, where to eat and information on parking around Scopello. They have a panificio within walking distance which supplies typical sweet and savoury Sicilian foods, of which Elena kindly provided for is for our walj in the Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro. The casatelle at this panificio are like soft pillows of heaven and were the best we had in all of Sicily.

The location is simply perfect. 15 mins walk to centre of Scopello, cca 20 mins to entrance to Zingaro natural reserve, cca 20 mins to the closest beach, cca 20 mins to Tonnara di Scopello (true - the way back is always uphill, therefore takes longer). The house is secluded and therefore completely quiet during the whole day, but I enjoyed it especially in the evening. The host Andrea was helpful and gave us useful tips for our visit (restaurants, beaches). We spent 6 days here and would not mind staying longer.

The location is great, if you come accross this accommodation as an option, you are probably with a car or motocycle, which perfect spot to get around here. Scopello is just 10-15min drive away, on the east the another great location "Marina di Castellammare del Golfo", beaches are within same distance, which we loved very much! The host gave great guidance and the apartments are clean and spacious, lovely small terrace in front for entrance.

A very special place to stay to enjoy the charm of Scopello. A real passionate family hotel built by her parents. Perched on the ridge it has beautiful sunrise views over the Tuna factory historical site. The room had that vintage Sicilian charm having been made by hand with colourful tiles. The location is ideal for strolling into the main square for morning treats or dinner. Great restaurants nearby. Checkin And checkout super easy.
