Many good things to highlight: daily cleaning with new towels, perfumed scent, vacuumed floors, etc. What caught our attention was the detail of the candles lit at night in the courtyard, giving the place a very romantic touch, also showing the concern to create a first-class environment. Villa Agnese also has the detail of ambient music even in the courtyard, at breakfast, which we appreciated a lot as other places don't have that detail. The 24-hour attention is worth noting, with very friendly staff always helping. The garage is excellent, spacious, and secure, and furthermore, the entire premises are enclosed, top-notch security, something very important since we rented a car. Everything very well maintained, courtyard, nature, room, with places to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The room perfectly painted and arranged with pleasant colors, with three curtains to cover the light and also to give an elegant touch to the windows. The initials of V.A in various parts and the name even on the napkins we liked a lot. The bathroom is large, perfectly equipped, good mirrors, very good shower, hot water, everything working perfectly. Good temperature and air in the room. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from and first-class service. Clean pool, crystal-clear water. The owners are very friendly, who also have the detail of giving a gift to their customers at the time of check-out, a detail that we hadn't seen before even though we've stayed in many hotels. If we return to northern Italy, we will definitely return to Villa Agnese, we recommend it wholeheartedly. Honestly, we can't find anything negative, quite the opposite, on a scale of 10 we give it a 20 :). Minutes away from the city center by car and on foot. Quiet place, excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Miramare and Spa. When searching for a , I had been attracted to the hotel by the photos of the Bay of Silence location of the hotel. It was even better in real life! A really beautiful and peaceful location as we were travelling during the non peak time of March. The bedroom we were allocated was lovely and spacious as we were upgraded on arrival to the Junior Suite with Seaview and balcony, room 210. The bed was SO comfortable and the room was very quiet. Sitting on the balcony at different times of the day was bliss! As we had requested a twin room, they made up the sofa bed into another bed for us, which was also very comfortable to sleep in. The suite was very clean and every little extra touch was provided. I loved the huge fluffy dressing gowns especially! The bathroom had a wonderful jacuzzi bath as well as a separate shower. I loved the range of toiletries provided, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner smelt and felt lovely. The breakfast room overlooking the sea was beautiful, such a pleasure to eat our breakfast overlooking the calm bay. It had lots of choice. We chose the ham and cheese omelette on the first morning which was delicious, so much so that we ordered another one on the following day! The pastries were displayed in a pretty way, like they do for an afternoon tea in England on a stand on each table. We didn’t manage to eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t open when we were there but there was plenty of choice in the town of Sestri Levante itself. We thought that the old town of Sestri Levante was delightful. We found it a great base for taking the train to see the Cinque Terre which was the main objective of our trip and we are so glad that we chose to stay outside in such a lovely resort. It was an easy direct connection to the Cinque Terre stations.

    This town is a great place to get away from the crowds and tourists and have an authentic Italian beach holiday. There were still migrants walking up and down the beaches bugging you to buy their crap, but that's pretty much every beach in Italy nowadays.

    It's a nice place with sandy beaches. If you want to do more snorkelling, I'd probably recommend other places with rocky beaches. You can book boat trips to Portofino/San Fruttoso and the Cinque Terre. We booked the Portofino/San Fruttoso one and it was very nice, snorkelled a bit in San Fruttoso and took a stroll through Portofino. We didn't have time to visit the Cinque Terre, but they are worth seeing and even staying there (I visited Riomaggiore and Monterosso back in 2018, they are nicer than Sestri Levante). Overall, for some quiet, nice time on the beach, you can go to Sestri Levante, the beaches are big enough. We walked from our accommodation to the beach and not much else, didn't take any buses. Found really good gelato at Ice Cream's Angels.

    We liked the informality and the choice of restaurants and bars. If exploring is part of your holiday, it is probably best done by the local trains which are frequent, clean, quiet and cheap. Our holday was not in high season but very likely July and August would bring crowds and diminish the charm of Sestri and roundabouts.

    Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from to cater for everyone's budget. Some nice shops to browse and there is a travelling market which appears on a Saturday. It has lots of sunbeds for hire owned by the bars & hotels, and a small public beach.

    The hotel is nicely decorated with large rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast room has views to the pool and patios. Breakfast was delicious and you could order freshly made eggs at extra cost. Service was impeccable and kind. The location in Sestri Levante was very convenient to visit Cinque Terre and the town is very pretty and not so touristy.

    Everything about this hotel is exceptional. It's one of my favourites in Italy to stay! The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. The room and bathroom are renovated beautifully. The pool area and roof top bar are also great. It was the perfect getaway spot and I wish we stayed longer.

    Beautiful location, our host Simone was wonderful and very accommodating, the homemade breakfast was the best we've had in Italy! The breakfast included fresh fruit and pastries, and wonderful focaccia; both sweet and savoury options alike. The room and common areas were very clean, and the shower was really nice.
