It still has the charm or a traditional Albergo with the downstairs area still having the charm of its origins in 1930. However our room on the new 4th floor had comfortable bed and a fantastic walk in rain shower which provided the necessary simple modern comforts. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Location for skiing is particularly good as the Frechay lift is now a modern funicular that gives you quick access to the Frechay and Greasonay areas better than from Champoluc. If you want to go into Champoluc for nightlife then you will have to take a taxi or have a car . However for skiing it is a good option and one which exceeded our expectations.

The best hotel, where you feel like at home. Excellent customer service, delicious breakfast. Dinner on site available, open bar. Ski taxi available anytime. Great place to stay also for solo travellers. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely planning to return next time. Big thanks to all the hotel staff, you are amazing !
