The most amazing and enchanting property. We absolutely loved it our stay at Castello Del Nero. This is definitely a five star experience. The staff are incredible and their attention to their guests is quite unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we were staying in a guest house. The food was also amazing!

Location is beautiful. Apartment has everything you need and is private and secluded. Host Niccolo and family are amazing and so friendly and responsive. They laid on a cookery class and it was the highlight of our holiday. One of the best holidays our family has ever had.

    This place was incredible.

    This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.

    This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit.

    This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit. Head out on windy roads with each drop and rise opening views of vineyards, olive groves and honey colored houses. Taste test to your heart’s content and head out early to catch dinner in a medieval hill top town. Or, you could settle down with a glass in hand and read through that pile of books you brought along! Eat at Bar el Poggio or the La Toppa Trattoria in the Main Street, both are great. Parking is 5 euros a day or free, depending when you get there (be early!).

    Beautiful and quiet area that is a short 15-30 minute vespa/car ride away from many popular Tuscan towns and Chianti vineyards. Also the perfect spot to take day trips to either Florence, San Gimignano, or Siena (each 30-50 mins away).

    Very close to the highway (500m), free parking, very clean, good breakfast. A very good hotel if you want to explore Tuscany, because it lies in the middle of the most important turist attractions (Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Lucca). The staff is very attentive and helpful, they are great hosts. Next to the hotel is a good restaurant, Osteria, where we enjoyed a great dinner.

    Beautiful location with stunning views. Very quiet and the sounds of the various birds echoing through the valleys was amazing. Modern and comfortable apartment.Ideal location to visit Florence and Sienna. Wilma was very helpful and recommended local restaurants.supermarket 2 km away.Unfortunately the pool was closed due to maintenance repairs,I look forward to a return visit
