Very cosy and modern place! The girls at the resepton extremely helpful and proffesional. We even had welcome drinks ! The breakfast is rich, tasty with enough dishes for every taste-homemade caces, fresh fruits and vegetables, salami and cheese. The Italians have learned how to serve tea, even had a variety of tea which suprised me a lot. The coffee is absolutely impecable, as probably everywhere in Italy. The room is very big and comportable, the linen is stunningly white. The parking place is free of charge, outside in the yard. If you prefer a quiet, cosy and relaxing place for a night or two I definitely recommend this place.

The room was nicely decorated and clean looks like its been renovated recently. Quiet and comfortable room we slept well. Free parking available on the street. The host Giovanni is super nice and had great recommendations for food place down the street, dont miss it its great atmosphere and food!

Staying in Antica Pieve felt like visiting our Italian family. When we will visit Chianti region again we will definately rebook this place. Location- very close to different significant places- San Gimignano, Firenze. Food- felt like family dinner, ask Katia for advice and she will say what you want to eat 🤩

    This place was incredible.

    This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.

    This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit.

    This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit. Head out on windy roads with each drop and rise opening views of vineyards, olive groves and honey colored houses. Taste test to your heart’s content and head out early to catch dinner in a medieval hill top town. Or, you could settle down with a glass in hand and read through that pile of books you brought along! Eat at Bar el Poggio or the La Toppa Trattoria in the Main Street, both are great. Parking is 5 euros a day or free, depending when you get there (be early!).

    Beautiful and quiet area that is a short 15-30 minute vespa/car ride away from many popular Tuscan towns and Chianti vineyards. Also the perfect spot to take day trips to either Florence, San Gimignano, or Siena (each 30-50 mins away).

    The location was beautiful, so peaceful with stunning views. Very well equipped kiitchen, we cooked for ourselves some days. Great having mosquito nets on most windows. Our host, Barbara, was always prompt to resolve any problem. We visited Siena and San Gimignano, an easy drive away. Supermarket was a 10 minute drive away. Excellent restaurant in nearby Tavarnelle di Pesa was Borgo Antico, a great evening there.

    Modern hotel with great breakfest. The staff was very warm and friendly, especially Miriam, the receptionist. They gave us great recommendations for excellent and tasty local restaurants 5 min drive from the hotel in Tavernelle. We recommend Osteria La Gramola.
