    Torre del Lago Puccini is truly a unique and special place, full of atmosphere and charm. It is here that one of the greatest opera composers, Giacomo Puccini, lived and created his masterpieces. Today, you can visit the museum in his former villa, where he composed his operas – an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to all lovers of art and music. The town itself enchants with its beauty – located by a picturesque lake, with a beautifully designed open-air theatre dedicated to opera. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the people are kind and friendly, and everywhere you go you can feel the authentic Italian spirit. On top of that, the food is absolutely delicious – especially the pizza, which is a must-try.We have already had the pleasure of attending two breathtaking opera performances here, and we are already planning our third visit. Torre del Lago Puccini is a place that draws you back again and again – we sincerely recommend it to everyone who loves opera, Italian hospitality, and the beauty of this country.

    If you love Puccini operas then this is the place for you.

    If you love Puccini operas then this is the place for you. In contrast to most Italian towns the railway station is in the centre and hotels mostly on the periphery. Getting to the actual theatre at the Torre del Lago could be a problem. It's quite a long way. Taxis are, in keeping with Italian traditions, extortionately expensive, and Uber is banned. There is a plethora of attractive-looking restaurants. I had one great evening meal (opera timing prevented more) at Elemento ex Piccadilly , via Marconi 204.

    The property is spacious and comfortable even for a group of 7 people. Short and easy walk to trains and buses and about 20min walk to the beach. Great communication and support from the provider (Interhome). I didn't expect the address for picking up the keys will be different from the place of stay, I asked to change it and they very quickly arranged leaving the keys right at the house which was more convenient. Also they offered assisstance on securing the airport transfer.

    It's a lovely b & b made so special by the amazing hosts. The room was v comfortable..excellent AC super clean. Comfy beds. Choice of pillows. Dinner available if you wish and the food is absolutely outstanding served in a lovely outdoor covered courtyard. Probably some of the best food we've had in Italy. Great for accessing the Puccini Opera Festival in Torre de Lago.

    Spacious, well-equipped house. Plenty of space for a group of 6 (3 couples). Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful old bikes available for free. Nice place to stay. Grocery stores are nearby. Beach is a maximum of 10 minutes by bike. Lots of places to explore - there is a train station in the town with trains to Pisa, Lucca, Florence, La Spezia etc.

    Quiet, spacious. Good sized garden. Close to all the shops but also to a lovely woods/park. not too far from the beach which is 20 minutes by bike through the woods and is a lovely ride into nature.
