The lady working there is lovely although you need to speak Italian to communicate. There is air conditioning in each room and the cleaner comes in every day to clean.

What a unique and charming hotel, the staff were very friendly and welcoming but thoroughly professional, breakfast was excellent including a clever offer of sweet or savoury (we both had savoury - delicious!). Our very well-kept room was delightful with original decor, a private terrace overlooking the beautiful lake and an amazing double spa bath tucked away under the bed - great fun and very therapeutic after the night-time drive from the Mediterranean port. The location was super too, we're only sad we missed an operatic performance at the near-by theatre during the Puccini celebrations; the tranquil and delicious surroundings made up for that to some extent. We certainly plan to rectify that disappointment in the near future.

Large spacious house in a quiet location, excellent outdoor seating. Kitchen well equipped. 4 bicycles available which was great for commuting to the beach. Fantastic beach with a gradual entry into the sea. The garden shower was great after coming from the beach. Shops and train station are nearby. The host Dario was great and always available. Communication was excellent and fast.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, although language was a problem. The apartment is quite roomy with good sized balconies, although the kitchen was rather small and the shower (directly in front of the WC) was very uncomfortable and difficult to use - this lead to the critical appraisal. Plenty of cutlery and utensils, although not particularly modern.

As we stepped into the apartment, the aroma of freshly baked sweet rolls greeted us. The owner had prepared these treats as a warm welcome - a small but heartwarming gesture that set the tone for our stay. Our stay at this apartment wasn’t just about the physical space - it was about the human touch. The sweet rolls, the punctuality, and the genuine care from the owner turned a simple stay into a memorable experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking more than just accommodation - a place where thoughtful gestures create lasting memories. Moreover, there are 4 bikes available that you can use to go to the beach / shop. Good location close to the centre and train station.

It was perfect location for us, as we had tickets of Puccini's Manon Lescaut at Grand Teatro Puccini and planed to visit Villa Puccini. Liu B&B was next to the villa and about 4 minites walk to the theater. So it was very convinient for us. Staff was very helpfull and fruendly

    Torre del Lago Puccini is truly a unique and special place, full of atmosphere and charm. It is here that one of the greatest opera composers, Giacomo Puccini, lived and created his masterpieces. Today, you can visit the museum in his former villa, where he composed his operas – an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to all lovers of art and music. The town itself enchants with its beauty – located by a picturesque lake, with a beautifully designed open-air theatre dedicated to opera. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the people are kind and friendly, and everywhere you go you can feel the authentic Italian spirit. On top of that, the food is absolutely delicious – especially the pizza, which is a must-try.We have already had the pleasure of attending two breathtaking opera performances here, and we are already planning our third visit. Torre del Lago Puccini is a place that draws you back again and again – we sincerely recommend it to everyone who loves opera, Italian hospitality, and the beauty of this country.

    If you love Puccini operas then this is the place for you.

    If you love Puccini operas then this is the place for you. In contrast to most Italian towns the railway station is in the centre and hotels mostly on the periphery. Getting to the actual theatre at the Torre del Lago could be a problem. It's quite a long way. Taxis are, in keeping with Italian traditions, extortionately expensive, and Uber is banned. There is a plethora of attractive-looking restaurants. I had one great evening meal (opera timing prevented more) at Elemento ex Piccadilly , via Marconi 204.

    It's a lovely b & b made so special by the amazing hosts. The room was v comfortable..excellent AC super clean. Comfy beds. Choice of pillows. Dinner available if you wish and the food is absolutely outstanding served in a lovely outdoor covered courtyard. Probably some of the best food we've had in Italy. Great for accessing the Puccini Opera Festival in Torre de Lago.

    Very nice, clean, modern and stylish little apartment. Has everything you need to make it feel like home. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, good wifi, very friendly and informative owner. A grocery store a few minutes away. Not far from a train station that'll take you to Pisa. About 30mins walk to the public beach. Private parking space.
